I think Fushimi Inari shrine was the highlight of our trip to Kyoto. Four hours in the rain negotiating hundreds of stairs through and by thousands of Tori gates and Inari statues everywhere. It was amazing.

I've started a gallery of the trip but it is no where near complete, please excuse some of the blurred pics, I was walking in the rain and taking pictures casually.

Michael and I will be spending a couple days in Kyoto this week. We have reservations at this bed and breakfast:
