O' October, month of beautiful weather, Halloween, and most importantly, pumpkin infused beers. Luckily, I don't have to travel all the way to the Brickstore in Decatur to imbibe in delicious October goodness as The Porter is right up the street. I joined my good friends Michael and Petrika recently to argue about art and sample some seasonal brews.

I'm hatching a plan to travel to Thailand April 2010 with my brother pending we save enough money. I hear that Thailand is a super cheap place to get SCUBA certified, which is going to be my main mission during the trip. I found a small private island that looks promising, the Nangyuan Island 'Dive Resort' where a 4 day Open Water certification will run you under 300 USD and they throw in a beach hut with two single beds, a fan and refrigerator. For a couple dollars more a night you can get a hut with AC and hot water.
