Broccoli-Mushroom-Tofu Yum!
Ingredients:
1 head of broccoli
6-8 shitaki mushrooms
1 small package fried tofu cubes
baby ginger (regular if you can't find, but I do recommend)
2-3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
3-5 dried chili peppers
1 tbsp butter or margarine
cooking oil (like canola)
<1/4 cup water
rice
Directions:
Rinse and divide broccoli into small florets. Scrub and slice mushrooms. Leave both out to dry thoroughly. Slice up tofu into bite-sized pieces. Slice ginger. When the broccoli and mushrooms are dry, heat up butter in one pan and oil with chili's in a wok. Reduce heat to low. Throw in the mushrooms with the butter and don't touch for two minutes. Stir-fry broccoli and ginger in wok for two or so minutes then add mushrooms and butter drippings. Add tofu and oyster sauce. Stir to mix and add some water...no more than 1/4 cup. Cover and cook till broccoli is to desired tenderness. Taste and add more oyster sauce if necessary. Let cool a little. Serve with rice.
